-I grew up in Cheektowaga, NY (derived from an Indian word meaning "Place of the crabapple tree").  Growing up in WNY is where my passion and love for Buffalo sports began.

-I attended Cleveland Hill High School, where I played football, baseball, basketball, and bowled.  That's right, I was on the high school bowling team!

-After graduating from high school, I attended Syracuse University from 1991-95, where I watched such football stars as Marvin Graves, Marvin Harrison, and Qadry Ismail, as well as basketball stars John Wallace and Lawrence Moten.

-I began my broadcasting career at WJPZ-FM at Syracuse University, a student-run campus-based radio station.  I served as the station's Sports Director, hosted a call-in sports talk show, and hosted a shift as a music disc jockey during the afternoon.

-While at SU, I also bartended and DJ'd at Maggie's On The Hill.  I still have great memories of that place and all the people I met and worked with there.

-In 1995 I moved to the small, sleepy town of Englewood, Florida, and worked on the air at WENG-AM Radio as a morning news host and sports talk host.  I also broadcast Little League baseball and high school football and basketball play-by-play.

-I coached both Little League Baseball and high school football while working in radio.

-In 1997 I returned to college at the University of South Florida to pursue a teaching certificate.  While there, I met my (now) wife, Jana.  So, I'd say it was a GREAT career decision.

-I am currently an assistant football coach and head girls Varsity track coach at Lemon Bay High School in Englewood, Florida.  In football, I had served as the Varsity Quarterbacks Coach for ten years, while also serving as the head Junior Varsity coach for four years during that same time.  This past season I moved to the other side of the ball for the first time to coach Defensive Backs.  Having the opportunity to coach both sides of the football has been a great experience and one I believe every coach should do at some point.

-I teach all levels of high school social studies (9th grade American Civics; 10th grade World History; 11th grade American History; 12th grade American Government; 12th grade Economics).

-I currently co-host Let's Talk Sports; a live, call-in, sports talk show which airs every Thursday night on Comcast's BLAB-TV channel 21 in Sarasota, Florida.

-I have served as a fill-in talk show host on ESPN Radio affiliates WGR-550 AM in Buffalo, WSRQ 1220 AM in Sarasota, and WAMR 1320 AM in Sarasota.
